James UreJames Ure loves students.  He loves mentoring students, rock climbing with students, laughing with students, building courses for students, hanging out with students, and learning from students.  He is passionate about educational innovation, the outdoors, entrepreneurship, politics, and developing meaningful relationships.  He received his B.A. in English from BYU and graduated magna cum laude from South Texas College of Law before returning to the magical deserts of Southern Utah to join his close friend, Peter Jensen, in co-founding Williamsburg Academy, an online school for gifted students who want to become leaders, and Elevation Outdoors, a company that partners with schools to provide meaningful outdoor adventures for students and educators.  He is currently Headmaster at Williamsburg Academy, and he also mentors in Government, Economics, and Writing.  He's a finalist for the 2012 National Online Teacher of the Year Award.  When he's not teaching or exploring, he's joking with his seven brothers, telling his playful pals a story (Bethany is 6, Josh is 5, and Isaac is 3), or watching movies with his sweetheart, Angela, who fills up his life with smiles, even when he doesn't deserve it.
